An African employer, for companies that are not one yet
Africa EOR Services employs people, runs HR and processes payroll across Africa for companies based somewhere else. That is the whole business, and Africa is the only region we work in.

What we do
Three things. We act as Employer of Record for companies that want staff in an African country without a company there. We run PEO — the HR, payroll and compliance function — for companies that have entities but no HR capacity. And we process multi-country payroll for companies that have both and would rather one team carried fifty-four filing calendars.
Most clients arrive through the first door and, over a year or two, walk through the other two as they incorporate. The point of doing all three is that they never have to change who they are talking to.
How we work
Every client has a named account manager who covers their whole African footprint and answers the phone. We hire in all 54 African countries. In many of them employees are engaged by our own registered companies; in the rest we use vetted local partners, named in your agreement, under our contract and our standards. Every quote sets out the loaded monthly cost per country and the assumptions behind it before anyone signs.
We publish comparison guides that rank ourselves against competitors on stated criteria, disclose that we are doing so, and say where they beat us. If a competitor is the better fit, the guide should make that obvious.
What we believe about employing in Africa
Fifty-four countries, not one
Anyone who talks about “African employment law” has not read any of it. We work country by country, and we say which countries we know best.
Deadlines are the whole job
Every country has a remittance date, a return date and a penalty for missing them. Get those right every month, in every country, and almost nothing else goes wrong.
Say who the employer is
Own entity or named partner, your employee and you should always be able to say exactly which company employs them, and why.
Legal and tax information on this site is general and reflects our understanding of the relevant countries’ law as at the date shown on each page. It is not advice on your situation. Where a decision turns on it, take specific advice — from us under engagement, or from a qualified adviser in the country concerned.
Tell us about the hire
One working day to a reply, from a person who knows the country.
