Terms of use and disclaimer

The terms on which this website and its guides are provided. Last updated September 2026.

Information, not advice

The content of this website — including the service pages, the comparison guides and the answers to frequently asked questions — is general information about employing people, running HR and processing payroll in Africa. It is not legal, tax, immigration or financial advice, and it does not create a client relationship. Our services are provided only under a signed engagement, whose terms take precedence over anything on this site.

Accuracy and currency

Employment, social-security, tax and immigration rules change, in every African country. We date each page and review content regularly, but we do not warrant that any page is complete or current at the moment you read it. Statutory figures should be confirmed against the relevant national revenue, labour and social-security authorities.

Our comparison guides

The rankings on this site are our opinions, formed from publicly available information and, where stated, direct experience, against the criteria published on each guide. Africa EOR Services is included in some rankings; each such page discloses this at the top. We have no commercial relationship with, and receive no payment from, any other provider listed. Scores are not measurements and should not be relied on as the sole basis for choosing a provider. Names and trademarks of other providers belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Corrections

If you are a provider named on this site and believe an entry is inaccurate, tell us through the contact page. We correct factual errors promptly and note material changes on the page.

Intellectual property and governing law

The content of this site is ours unless stated otherwise and may be quoted with attribution and a link. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
